"Tuned to the Music of the Spheres.”

In 1979 Stevie Wonder recorded an album, for a documentary, that was based on a book, titled “Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants”.
The book, titled: “The Secret Life of Plants” describes, in detail, a wide range of experiments performed on house plants like: hooking them up to lie detector machines, burning their leaves off, fornicating near them, and their potential communication with aliens.

A lot has changed in plant research and plant-centric-soundtracks, but we should never forget the plants that had to suffer to get us here. This board is an homage, not only to Stevie Wonder’s semi successful studio album, but to the plants that had to endure these trials.

The text and images for this board are from “The Secret Life of Plants”, Home and Gardening books, a hardback copy of “Mysteries of the Unexplained” and a self portrait photo from the one and only Jim Goldsworthy.

To date, this is my favorite piece of art that i've ever created, and i have been chasing the high of it's creation ever since.
